Innovation, collaboration and a shared sense of purpose defined Nastah’s participation at A+A 2025 – the world-leading trade fair for safety, security and health at work, held at Messe Düsseldorf from 4–7 November 2025.
Over four days, Düsseldorf once again became a global hub for the future of work: thousands of safety professionals, manufacturers, distributors and experts came together to explore how technology, design and human-centric thinking can make workplaces safer and healthier. With 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries and 67,000 visitors from 150 nations, A+A reinforced its position as the key meeting point for the international safety community.
Nastah was proud to be part of this unique ecosystem.
A+A: More Than a Trade Fair – A Live Experience of Safety
A+A is not just about viewing products in display cases; it’s about experiencing safety first-hand. Across the halls, visitors could explore the entire value chain of occupational safety and health – from PPE and workwear to occupational medicine, fire and disaster protection, corporate fashion, fabrics and components.
This year’s programme combined:
- The A+A Congress, one of the most important conferences on occupational safety and health, bringing together researchers, policymakers and practitioners.
- Specialist forums on wearables, ergonomics and human–machine interaction.
- A dynamic Start-up Zone, where young companies showcased disruptive ideas for monitoring, data analytics and smart PPE.
- Live demonstrations, hands-on exoskeleton trials and interactive training areas spread throughout the halls.
The atmosphere was less “static exhibition” and more working laboratory, where visitors could touch, test and compare the latest developments in real time.
Fashion, Function and Safety on One Stage
One of the standout attractions was the protective workwear fashion show, where new collections highlighted how far modern PPE has evolved. On stage, leading brands showed that workwear today must do more than protect – it must also reflect identity, comfort and style.
Across the runway, visitors saw:
- Workwear that blended ergonomic cuts with durable technical fabrics
- Corporate fashion pieces that align PPE with brand image and wearer acceptance
- Integrated features such as stretch zones, ventilation and smart pocket systems designed around the reality of daily work
This powerful mix of function, design and safety reflected a broader shift in the industry: PPE is increasingly being designed for people first, not just for compliance.
Digitalisation and Sustainability in the Spotlight
Two megatrends continued to define the fair: digitalisation and sustainability.
Exhibitors presented:
- Smart wearables and connected PPE that monitor vital signs, location or exposure to hazards in real time
- Exoskeletons and robotic assistance systems that reduce strain in physically demanding tasks
- AI-based health coaches and digital platforms that help prevent musculoskeletal disorders and support healthier work routines
- VR and AR training tools that simulate hazardous situations safely and realistically
- Digital solutions for hazardous materials management, inventory and PPE lifecycle tracking, supporting more efficient and safer operations
On the sustainability side, many exhibitors focused on:
- Circular-economy concepts – from recyclable materials to take-back schemes
- Longer-lasting products that reduce waste
- Transparent supply chains and responsible sourcing of materials
These trends align strongly with the guiding theme of A+A: “People matter” and the goal of inspiring better work environments – reminding everyone that technology must ultimately serve the person wearing the product.
Glove innovation in focus at A+A 2025
Hand protection was once again a core focus at A+A 2025, with hundreds of exhibitors in the “hand protection, gloves” category and many brands using Düsseldorf as the launchpad for their latest technologies.
Across the fair, several clear trends emerged:
- Gloves built for extremes
Industrial glove specialists presented ranges engineered for high abrasion, high cut resistance, oil and chemical exposure, and thermal protection – often within the same portfolio. These certified gloves target harsh environments such as construction, oil and gas, logistics and metal fabrication, underlining the growing demand for application-specific safety glove solutions rather than one-size-fits-all products.
- Electrical-insulating and anti-vibration protection
Electrical safety experts highlighted rubber insulating gloves and complementary PPE designed to combine voltage protection with comfort and dexterity. Ergonomic specialists focused on impact- and vibration-reducing gloves to help prevent long-term musculoskeletal injury in high-speed, repetitive work environments.
- Cut resistance goes thinner and more precise
Several exhibitors promoted new high-gauge cut-resistant gloves (up to 24-gauge), aimed at tasks where workers need both precise handling and robust protection – such as precision assembly, metal handling and maintenance.
- Responsible manufacturing and sustainability
Many glove stands emphasised responsible production, cleaner processes and longer-lasting products. The focus on durability, reduced environmental impact and transparent supply chains ties hand protection into A+A 2025’s broader theme of sustainable safety and health at work.
Nastah at A+A: Listening, Learning and Co-Creating the Future
For Nastah, A+A 2025 was a valuable opportunity to combine market insight, product feedback and relationship-building in one place.
Throughout the fair, our Sales & Business Development team:
- Met with international PPE and glove brands to explore OEM and private label manufacturing projects tailored to specific markets and applications.
- Connected with distributors, importers and wholesalers looking to enrich their portfolios with Nastah’s in-house glove ranges for household, industrial and specialty use.
- Reconnected with existing partners to discuss portfolio expansion, regional strategies and new regulatory requirements.
From these conversations we gained deeper insight into:
- Evolving expectations for comfort, durability and sustainability in reusable and industrial gloves
- Regional differences in standards, certification pathways and user preferences
- Opportunities to support customers with customised glove designs, packaging and logistics solutions
Most importantly, Nastah has formed new connections and identified a number of promising partnership opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South America and beyond. Many of these leads are now progressing into sample evaluations, joint development discussions and potential distribution agreements.
Shared Values: “People Matter”
The core message repeated across A+A – “People matter” – resonates strongly with Nastah’s own purpose.
For us, this means:
- Protecting hands, protecting livelihoods – every glove we manufacture is ultimately about sending people home safely at the end of the day.
- Building long-term relationships – we see OEM and distribution partners as collaborators, working together to respond to new risks and expectations.
- Continuous improvement – we listen closely to end-users, customers and regulators to ensure our products and processes keep evolving.
As A+A 2025 closes its doors, one thing is clear: when innovators, manufacturers, distributors and experts come together around shared values of safety, trust and respect for people, the impact goes far beyond any single event.
